Meet the Team!

As aforementioned, the team is made up of four contributors. This post will provide readers with a brief introduction of each member of the team, and what they intend to discuss on this blog.

Kat: 

Hi, my name is Kat and my focus within this blog will strongly focus on the music which falls under genres (and genres in relation to) Metal and EDM (ElectroDance Music). Not only will I be discussing the genres themselves, but also the subcultures in relation to said genres.
The two primary genres I will be focusing on are very different, and thus they will usually be discussed in separate posts.
I have been in musical groups and bands in the past, as a singer.
I suppose I do not really have a favorite musician or band at the moment, though I enjoy Abney Park, Rammstein, Within Temptation, VNV Nation, Skrillex, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Jeffree Star, Skream, Hollywood Undead; the list goes on really.

Tamana:

 Hey I'm Tamana, I'm going to discuss within this blog topics relating to old school Hip Hop and
modern Rap, and of course Rock (Alternative and Classic). The reason I chose these topics is that there so much to learn and know about these genres. Topics could be an eye opener. I want to show how music especially the genres I picked influence society. Some of the artists I will be discussing (and enjoy listening to) include 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Run DMC, and MGMT.

Jay:

How ya'll doing! The names Jay, and I'll be your man for all urban mainstream pop culture music and its fashion!
So...a little about myself? Well I've been helping organising many major concert events in Australia hosted by UrbanAgent and been a DJ for 3 years kicking with R&B, Urban and Pop mainstream music to keep the party pumping and getting people singing along with the best of the best tracks hitting up top of the lists in all charts including Euro, UK, US and hometown local Australia from charts such as iTunes top charts, ARIA charts, Top Of The Pops and many many more!
My inspirers? Well...my inspirers are my favourite artists including Jay Sean, Jason Derulo, Usher, Chris Brown, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, LMFAO, Pitbull and soo sooo SOOOOOO many more!
These are the people who you would wanna be pumping the bass in your car with! These are the tracks that get the party started, ended and flying out through the night!
And I'll be your man to keep you posted with my thoughts with their style, looks and personalities!

Hi my name is Ramona and my interest in music is very broad although my favourite genres are R&B modern/mainstream Hip Hop, which I will be explaining more about... My favourite artists are Michael Jackson, Trey and Beyonce for R&B, and for Hip Hop it is Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Rhianna and JayZ.
The reason why i will be focusing on these genres are simply because this is my favourite genre's and my day to day music that I listen to.
I have been in the music industry for quite some time now.. I taught dance which revolved around the genres hip hop and r&b which is probably why I enjoy it so much.
